Parquet lamella production with thin-cut sawing sets
In parquet production, the top covering layer, the so-called parquet lamella, is made of particularly high-quality woods. These parquet lamellas are usually cut from solid blocks of wood and have material thicknesses ranging from 2.7 mm to 5.0 mm. The challenge here is to keep the cutting quality constant and to produce as little waste as possible despite different material properties (cracks, tensions or knots).
Leitz thin-cut circular sawblades are perfectly suited for the production of high-quality parquet lamellas. With a kerf of at least 1.2 mm, they not only ensure the lowest possible waste, but also convince with low energy consumption, better wood output and noticeable durability.
